What’s the difference?
Both BPC-157 and TB-500 are widely used in tissue-repair research, but they act through different mechanisms. BPC-157 is investigated in angiogenesis, cytoprotection and gastrointestinal-mucosa models, while TB-500 — a fragment of the actin-binding protein Thymosin Beta-4 — is studied for actin binding, cytoskeletal signaling and cell migration. Because the mechanisms are complementary, the two are sometimes examined together, for example in the GLOW research blend.
Which to use in research
In research design, BPC-157 is typically selected where gut, angiogenesis or cytoprotection endpoints are of interest, and TB-500 where actin, cytoskeletal or cell-migration endpoints are the focus. Both are supplied as lyophilised powder and reconstituted the same way.
